The Transparency in Coverage Rule, based on Affordable Care Act (ACA) requirements, mandates that most group health plans and insurers post Machine Readable Files (MRFs) by July 1, 2022.  The MRFs are intended to provide pricing data for covered items and services based on in-network negotiated payment rates and historical out-of-network allowed amounts, but the files are not meant to be participant-facing.  The MRFs, as the name implies, can only be read by “machines.”  However, to comply with the new regulations, the links are being posted for employees to access the information.  Please click on the following links to be directed to the website and access the information for each medical carrier offered by Center Joint Unified School District.
