Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP)
The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) provides funding for afterschool and summer school enrichment programs for transitional kindergarten through sixth grade.
“Expanded learning” means before school, after school, summer, or intersession learning programs that focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of pupils through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. In collaboration with community partners, expanded learning programs complement, but do not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day and school year. Community Partners Include:

- All students who enroll will initially be placed on a waitlist
- Enrollment does not guarantee a program spot
- A separate registration must be submitted for each student
- Families must select all sessions needed for their student
(Example: If you want summer and after-school care, you must select both sessions)
- If offered placement, TK students will be assigned to an Expanded Learning session once AM/PM TK class schedules become available to Expanded Learning staff.
Before You Start:
- Students must be officially enrolled with CJUSD for their information to appear in 6Crickets
- Use the same email address or phone number on file with your child’s school
- If your information does not match school records, you may not be able to access the system
- Families will be notified via email if a spot becomes available
