We love volunteers!   Read below to learn how you can become a volunteer.

 

 

Unsupervised volunteers are likely to be alone with students. This includes, but is not limited to, coaches, overnight field trips, out-of-state trips, and private vehicle use. 

• Unsupervised volunteers must be fingerprinted for a background check.  Our Human Resources Department will contact you with instructions. There is a $52 fee for fingerprinting, payable at the fingerprinting location, not the school district.
• Human Resources will contact you once your fingerprint clearance has been received.
• If you plan to become an unsupervised volunteer, please complete the form below AND email the school office assistant at the school you want to volunteer at to indicate your choice.
  
  
  

Volunteer DriversVolunteer drivers must follow the guidelines for becoming unsupervised volunteers and complete a Volunteer Personal Automobile Use Form, which is available in the school front office.

• The form must be submitted at least 15 days before you can drive students.
• Please return the completed form to the school office along with your driver’s license and auto insurance policy declaration page.
• The school administrator will review the Volunteer Personal Automobile Use Form, which will then be sent to the Transportation Department for final processing and approval.

Please make sure to include your nine-digit social security number. This is required to enter you into our system. TB Risk Assessment

 

A TB Test and/or chest x-ray may be necessary after completion of the TB Risk Assessment Form.

Once your forms are submitted:

• The school office staff will process a Megan’s Law Clearance, and the school administrator will approve your Volunteer Information Form. 
• Allow two to three school days for your paperwork to be sent to our district office.
• The school office will contact you once your volunteer request is processed and you are cleared.
