About CJUSD
Center Joint Unified School District serves a growing community in Antelope, Elverta, and Roseville, California. It spans Sacramento and Placer Counties and includes undeveloped land in Placer County, which offers potential for future growth.
CJUSD serves 4,400 students in eight schools: five elementary schools, one middle school, one continuation high school and one comprehensive high school.
The Center Commitment: A Foundation for Success
CJUSDs educational approach is rooted in the Center Commitment, which creates a
supportive environment where everyone feels valued, included, and empowered to make a positive impact. A Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) emphasizes academic achievement and social-emotional development.

To improve literacy and instructional practices, CJUSD is prioritizing a comprehensive MTSS framework. This involves differentiated instruction at all tiers, professional development opportunities, regular classroom monitoring, and collaborative professional learning communities.

Student success depends on attendance, social-emotional well-being, engagement, and
behavior. CJUSD provides staff with the necessary resources and administrative support
to address behavioral challenges and enhance student engagement, attendance, and
behavior.
THRIVE: Preparing Students for the Future
CJUSD is committed to ensuring every student graduates prepared for post-high school
endeavors. Goal 4 focuses on strengthening college and career pathways and implementing actions to achieve this goal.
