The Center Joint Unified School District continues to experience meaningful success. Our graduates leave our schools prepared to pursue higher education, enter the workforce, serve in the armed forces, and contribute as informed and engaged citizens. While the district successfully fulfills its core educational mission, there is more we can do to expand opportunity and enrich the student experience. We envision enhancing music programs, strengthening performing and visual arts, expanding world language offerings, and increasing access to enrichment within the school day. We seek to broaden elective pathways, support innovation in instructional programs, and further develop athletics and wellness opportunities that encourage lifelong healthy habits.

 

These enhancements are not intended to replace what already works. Rather, they are designed to build upon our success and create even greater possibilities for our students.

 

To help realize this vision, the Center Foundation for Educational Excellence was established. The Foundation is an independent, registered nonprofit organization governed by a local board of directors. Its purpose is to build a sustainable and locally directed source of funding that supports strategic priorities benefiting students, faculty, and staff throughout the district.

 

Under the foundation model, contributions are invested and only the earnings are used to support programs. This approach ensures that gifts made today continue to generate opportunities for generations of students to come.

 

The success of the Foundation depends upon the generosity and leadership of individuals who share a belief in the power of public education.
